A busy week so far

Its been rather busy this week, mainly with Ralos and good to see the team progressing well. Although we are much delayed, nonetheless, i think the team is movin ahead and will be able to meet required timelines.

Watched a few movies (long parts) during lessons this week. 2 movies are part of my GE requirements, the other 2 is during HRM (Human Resource Management). Had fun and was laughing away from jokes by Roy on the 'Swear brotherhood' thingy...

We (Ralos team) went down to Dynaglass, a composite fabricator, which would be doing up the carbon fibre shells for us on Wed. Learnt quite a lot over there. I got the entire team to go down, only Andy couldnt make it cos of lab(cant skip that), as it would be an eye opener for all of us. i feel that the good thing about this project is that the team members can obtain much experience in many aspects.

Going for Weibin's wedding later this evening at Rasa Sentosa where they will exchange wedding vows by the sea. Lets hope that the weather holds, mid/low level clouds to the west, then maybe can get some golden rays of sunset luminating the couple. =) Like that then romantic mah.... wonder whats the sunset timing today.... its been a long time sine i touched the nautical almanac liao.

Thinking of that, do miss the days of being required to calculate sunrise, sunset (gyo check); moon rise/set (for naval tactics, etc). And also calculating where the major constellations will be (for fun and interest), especially on overseas trips. The chatting/bonding with the guys on duty on the bridge was one of the best part of being onboard. The HRM prof was talking about bonding onboard ships, especially during stormy seas..... that is one thing i understand completely, hmmm... maybe because i went through it? =P
